So any honesty, this week? Yes. When I think about what this damn site is, I clam up and get all confused. Clarity is reached only when I hit pen to paper, or finger to button. I had no intention of mixing up the site themes and domain name last week. But when inspiration strikes, you must act.

The environment that encouraged motorway building, out-of-town shopping, suburbia, commuting, office managers, living-for-the-weekend, career politicians, central business districts, etc. etc. etc. That came about because our motivations aligned with these outcomes. We Wanted This.

I consider each demolition of prior creation as a sign that my skills are turbo charging. An internal proof of work, you may say. My perspective shifts. I revaluate what is possible. And I up my game. The process has its strains and stresses, but show me something worthwhile that is eazy breezy. It does not exist.

In the pursuit of digitise myself I had rediscovered all sorts of innate satisfactions. Writing being one of them, of course.

11 years later, the landscape is utterly different. I can create the output of a 3-5 person team with a laptop and a Wi-Fi connection. Everything has moved to a SaaS business model. Nearly everything is automated. Lead generation. Financial reporting. Report formatting. Client liaison. It has all become part of a smooth software process.
I thought I'd write a little about a film that has fascinated me for years; Koyaanisqatsi. A film with zero dialogue, zero plot and zero cast.
I'm always up for brooding electronica. Boards of Canada offer that in spades. There must be something about the Scottish psyche, as we all seem to be attracted to melancholy and darkness. Works for me though because their work is bloody fantastic.
Enter notion. Instead of monotony, we have emojis. Instead of endless folders, we have galleries. It is a robust back-end to complement my digital presence.
