Consciousness is more than what we see; it’s what we choose to look at and how we engage with it. Attention is not just a lens but also a tool for shaping the world around us. When directed deliberately, it becomes a source of power and possibility. In this way, exploring consciousness mirrors the systemic thinking central to Long Curiosity. Just as Bitcoin’s structure redefined trust, the structure of our attention redefines how we experience life. The more aware we become of what we give our focus to, the more we uncover the deeper layers of our existence. Perhaps the question is no longer what is consciousness, but what will we do with it?

More importantly, and perhaps my real point here, I commit myself to betterment every bloody day. It can come in all shapes and sizes; writing, organising, chilling with my favourite person and my favourite dog, reflecting. Pushing the needle is perhaps the reason for being. Am I learning? Am I discovering? Do I satisfy my curiosity?

Sure, you don't always walk away from a diary entry with a clean mental slate. But the power of a journal compounds over time. It leaves a trail of recollections that would otherwise be lost in the ether.

In our paperless age, and with most knowledge roles based from a screen, it is so god damn easy to work from anywhere. And if it is so god damn easy, then why do we continue to inhabit these stuffy depressing offices? What possible reason is there to inhabit these spaces for 8 hours of your day?
